ABOUT THIS JOURNAL
A little closer
to Osaka.
A city makes more sense when you slow down, choose a neighborhood, and sit down for something good.

Built around real visits
wet.osaka is an English-language journal about eating and exploring Osaka, made from the experiences of a local resident.
The starting point is a meal or a walk that actually happened. Visit notes and original footage supply the details. The aim is to help you imagine an evening here, not hand you an endless checklist.
What you’ll find here
- Neighborhoods explored at a human pace.
- Food we actually ordered and how it tasted to us.
- Original photographs from those visits.
- The good parts, and the parts that could have been better.
A note on the details
A past visit cannot guarantee today’s prices, menus, opening hours or service. When we haven’t confirmed a practical detail, we leave it open instead of guessing. Check with the restaurant before making a special trip.
This journal begins with Tenma. More neighborhood stories will follow as the visit records are put together.
